There is a good Youth Hostel (YHA) in Grinton, called Grinton Lodge
The YHA Grinton Lodge Hostel is good place to stay and an ideal location for exploring Swaledale. A pleasing location with great views all round and plenty of space for parking! The hostel is situated above Grinton, south and up the steep hill on the road to Redmire.
